Meet Anika and Danyella Johnson

Anika Johnson is a midwife and the mother of eight amazing children. She is the founder of Peaceful Beginnings Midwifery in Gwynn Oak, Maryland. Her practice of Midwifery began over twenty years ago after graduating from Georgetown University with a master’s in Midwifery. She has delivered babies worldwide, and when she is not working, she enjoys traveling, volunteering, self-care, observing nature, and being in the company of friends and family. She can't wait to learn about you and hear your story. 

Danyella Johnson is one of Peaceful Beginnings Midwifery’s birth assistants. She has had six - natural deliveries of her own, and has been a labor and delivery nurse for 10 years. She with her sister Anika are honored to be part of a woman’s birthing experience, and it is so important to her, for that experience to be one that women will look back on later with awe and self-appreciation.
