Meet Dwayne Genus

As a team, Uchenwa Iroaga Genus and Dwayne Genus have a keen interest in researching and telling true stories that provide insight into the Rich experiences of people of African descent.

Dwayne Genus is a dedicated husband, father, and passionate advocate for the Black community. Over the past 25 years, some of his key initiatives include:

• Authoring "An African Story", a memoir that tells the story of his mother-in-law's experiences during the Biafran War
• Founding Genius Nation, an academic tutoring program designed to cultivate the next generation of leaders and innovators
• Launching the Black Family Network (BFN), a nonprofit grassroots organization focused on strengthening Black families and fostering unity within local communities
